Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account or using SoftwareBox, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. The service is intended for users aged 13 or older who can use receiver software lawfully and responsibly.
Permitted use
SoftwareBox may be used for lawful satellite receiver maintenance, recovery, compatibility work and personal technical reference. Do not upload or distribute malicious, unlawful, misleading or rights-infringing material; bypass access controls; abuse download services; or interfere with users or systems.
Compatibility and recovery
Before flashing, verify the exact receiver brand, model, chipset, hardware revision, flash size and software version. Incorrect firmware can make equipment unusable or erase settings. Keep a verified backup and a tested recovery method. You are responsible for choosing and applying files.
Accounts and security
Provide accurate information, protect credentials and review active sessions. You are responsible for account activity. Access may be restricted or terminated for abuse, security attacks or violations of these terms.
Community Guidelines and user content
Before posting text or images, you must accept the current Community Guidelines. Do not post spam, scams, malware, harassment, bullying, hate or abusive content, sexual content or nudity, graphic violence, dangerous instructions, another person’s private information, or material that violates copyright or other rights. Keep replies relevant and respectful.
SoftwareBox provides in-app reporting and blocking. Reported content may be reviewed, removed or restricted, and accounts involved in serious or repeated violations may be suspended or terminated. Attempts to bypass these protections also violate these terms.
Third-party material
Product names, logos, firmware and third-party software remain the property of their respective owners. Availability in SoftwareBox does not imply ownership or endorsement. Use files only when authorized and respect applicable licenses and laws.
Video access for selected tools
Selected technical tools require one clearly disclosed video for one access. The tool opens only after the advertising service confirms completion. Closing or dismissing a loaded video before that confirmation keeps the tool locked. If advertising inventory cannot load or show for a technical reason, SoftwareBox may visibly offer one grace access so a core tool is not permanently blocked. Availability can vary by privacy choices, connectivity, region and advertising inventory.
Optional 30-minute regular-ad break
The side-menu option clearly asks whether you want to watch one video ad. If the advertising service confirms completion, regular ads shown while browsing and after completed downloads are hidden on that device for 30 minutes. Declining, skipping or dismissing the ad does not restrict normal app use and grants no break. Videos needed to open special tools are separate and continue during the break.
Availability and disclaimer
Files, listings, tools and services may be corrected, replaced, limited or removed. SoftwareBox is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent allowed by law, Khan Dish Network is not responsible for receiver damage, data loss, service interruption or indirect loss caused by incompatible files, incorrect use or third-party material.
